The finishing hole on the front side is a challenging par 5 which is played slightly uphill and into the prevailing winds. Your second shot must be placed in a well-bunkered area to have a short or lofted iron into the well-bunkered, slightly elevated green.

Hole nine is named St. Patrick after the Irish saint that drove the snakes from the land. It appropriately follows the 8th hole, named the Serpent.
