8th Hole, The Serpent
Another aerial view of the 8th hole, showing more of the green. This is taken from the fairway looking into the green.
This long, slightly downhill par 4 requires a straight tee shot to avoid the bunkers on both sides of the fairway. From the fairway, you look down into the green, where you see a small putting surface that has bunkers to the left and the right side. Hole number eight is named The Serpent, after it’s narrow and snake like approach to the green.
In this photo you get an idea of how the hole tightens up just before the green.
